Cross Country - Even with a number of invitationals being cancelled, Cross Country is in full swing. Good luck to all of the runners this season and always. Hopefully, we can social distance and wear masks and have a complete season. If you are not running, I hope you can watch a meet or two of your favorite school and support these great athletes. Rod O’Donnell updated article on - Life Lessons from Cross Country.

What is a Virtual Race? by Matt McGowan

A virtual race is an event which can be run or walked from any location the athlete choices. The athlete can run or walk on the road, on the trail, on a treadmill or on the track. The athlete runs the race at their own pace and times it themselves.

Granville is Open

For the past nineteen years I have been a member of the Granville Village Council, for two years I served as the Vice Mayor and for two years I served as the Mayor.
While I was the Mayor the Village purchased the Bryn Du Mansion from the David Longaberger family.  The year after we purchased the property I laid out a number of cross country courses of various distances which have been used for Denison University, Granville High School, Newark Catholic High School and the Granville Summer Cross Country Series. RUNOHIO is a member of the Granville Chamber of Commerce and I wanted to share a recent promo about Granville - http://www.runohio.com/index.php/video/category/35-industry/79-granvilleohio
