The 109th Boys and 42nd Girls Ohio High School Athletic Association Track & Field Championships
 
Columbus OH, June 4 & 5 - The 109th Boys and 42nd Girls Ohio High School Athletic Association Track & Field Championships saw numerous outstanding performances, new State Championships records, Division records and Jesse Owens Stadium records. The Ohio Championships is one of the largest High School Track & Field Championships in the country.

2016 HOKA One One Columbus 10K presented by RUNOHIO

Columbus, June 5 - A light rain during warm up turned into nearly perfect June weather as another outstanding field toed the starting line in downtown Columbus for the "Oldest Race in Columbus" - the 39h annual HOKA One One Columbus 10K presented by RUNOHIO.  The race again started and finished at the original site of the former Central High School which is now the Center of Science and Industry (COSI), however the course was slightly changed with completion of the Scioto Mile and Scioto Bike Trail.

On the Run with Matt McGowan  

For the seventh time I received media credentials for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Track & Field.  This year's Trials will be held in Eugene, Oregon July 1st - July 10th.  Good luck to all athletes participating.  If you are from Ohio and are going to the Trials email me when you get to Eugene as I have a few special RUNOHIO t-shirts I will pass out free.

Jeff McGowan Memorial 5K

Join Columbus Running Company and RunOHIO for a Sunday morning run through Scioto Audubon Metro Park and this third annual event in memory of Jeff McGowan.  

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Jeff McGowan Memorial Scholarship.

Circleville City Schools recognized and thanked the McGowan family for their generous donation to the track facilities at the CHS Track Invitational last month. In honor of their continued support, the facility will now be known as The McGowan Family Track.
