OHSAA State Cross Country Championships – November 5th |
|
After a twenty-six year run at the Scioto Downs Race Track the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships has a new site. The 83rd Boy’s State Cross Country Championship’s and 34th Girls State Cross Country Championships will be held at the National Trail Raceway, 2650 National Road SW, Hebron, Ohio 43025 This Championship is perhaps the country's best High School State Cross Country Championships with over 160 schools and 800 athletes racing in three boys and three girls races.

Registration for the March 4th 2012 Arnold 5K Pump and Run started at 12:01 a.m. on November 1st and is now closed.
The All-Ohio Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships hosted by Cedarville University and run on The Elvin R. King Cross Country Course is perhaps the most unique collegiate cross-country race in the country as most of the Ohio colleges and universities were on hand for the 57th annual men's race and the 32nd annual women's race. 
One of the top Ohio 10K field assembled at the starting line for the 31st annual Minster Oktoberfest. Morocco’s Abdelaziz Atmani now living in Indianapolis pulled away from Uganda’s Patrick Cheptoek in the final half mile to race to the finish line for the win and $700 top prize. Atmani hit the finish line in 28:48.5 to set a new course record breaking Boazche Boiywo 2008 time of 28:54 and taking home an extra $4,000. 
The Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches will be held November 18th in Dayton . Speakers include Greg Meyer, Mike Woolsey and more - 
It may not be the eighth wonder of the world, but the SPIRE Institute, located in Geneva, Ohio, is certainly one of the greatest competitive and training facilities that can be found anywhere in the country -
