USATF Track & Field Championships
Every year at the USATF Track & Field Championships or Olympic Team Trials a number of Ohioans excel. Perhaps one of the many outstanding accomplishments was from Ohio Northern University (my undergraduate) junior Emily Richards who ran a 2:21 800 meter in high school and finished 8th in the USAT Track & Field Championships 800 meters with her 2:01.74/ Earlier in the season she established a new NCAA Division III 800 meter National record with her 2:00.62.
