The lights are back on
The lights are back on.
Last night the transformer down the street was shooting out flames from the box. The police, fire department and AEP all showed up to check out the transformer. Luckily my lights stayed on.
However, at 2am the heavy snow on the tree branches touching the electric lines caused a few electric lines to snap. Granville got 12”-14” inches of snow during this recent storm. After over 12 hours of no electricity or heat, both are back on at my house. Hopefully, you have electricity and heat. A few years back before Christmas heavy ice on trees and the electric lines took down electric lines resulting in my electricity being out for over five days.
Don’t forget to be careful driving, running and shoveling snow. Also, please don’t forget to help out a neighbor who might need assistance.
Have a great and safe day.
