The Columbus Crew and RUNOHIO announced that the Columbus Crew 5K

The Columbus Crew and RUNOHIO announced that the Columbus Crew 5K will be held on Saturday, August 15th at 8:00 a.m. The event will offer a number of unique features, including a free Crew ticket with each paid registration, a course that takes finishers through the Crew players' tunnel and onto the Crew Stadium field.

The Crew 5K Run/Walk around the grounds of the Crew Stadium, the Ohio State Fairgrounds, the Ohio Historical Society and finishes at the midfield of Crew Stadium. All registrants receive: Free tech shirt and goody bag and a free ticket to see the Crew take on FC Dallas at 7:00 p.m.; after you hit the finish line, you’ll be the star of Crew Plaza with music, food, games, Crew players, Crew Cat and the Crewzers.

Register early as the entry fee goes up August 1st – Every Crew 5km runner or walker gets a free ticket ($24 value) to the game that evening.

5K Race @ 8:00am: $30 early bird until August 1st; $35 August 2nd - 14th; $40 on Race Day (5K race fee includes race entry, tech shirt and game ticket to the August 15th game vs. FC Dallas – 7:00 p.m.). Additional game tickets only $16 (reg. $24).

1 Mile Kids Run @ 9:15am; $16 (includes game ticket to August 15th game)

Packet pick up will be at the Dublin’s Columbus Running Company store (6465 Perimeter Dr., Dublin, OH 43016) – August 8th until 1pm August 14th http://www.columbusrunning.com

You can also pick up your race packet on race day at the Columbus Crew Stadium (One Black & Gold Blvd, Columbus, OH 43211) from 6:30 am- 7:30am.
