RUNOHIO along with the Arnold 5K and Arnold Sports Festival are encouraging friends of Chris Harmon to run or walk the Arnold 5K this Sunday with Sarah Harmon. Chris Harmon had a serious weight lifting accident last week.

Sarah Harmon had already signed up for the race and Chris was going to run with her sister according to the Chris Harmon Facebook page said co-race director Matt McGowan.

Proceeds from the race day registration for the Arnold 5K this Sunday will go to the Chris Harmon Fund. Race day registration will occur at the north end of the Greater Columbus Convention Center by Hall F between 7:30am and 8:30am. The race day registration fee is $35 and includes a race t-shirt and free entry after the race into the Arnold Expo ($10 value). Additional donations will be greatly appreciated. The race starts at 9:15am at the corner of High Street and Goodale Street.

Race day registration checks should be made out to the Chris Harmon Fund.

Also, if you can not attend the race on March 7th, you can stop by Whit’s Frozen Custard at 138 E. Broadway in Granville starting Wednesday, March 10th and register to do a virtual run and receive a Arnold 5K race t-shirt. with payment to the Chris Harmon Fund. You can register to do the virtual run March 10th – 20th at Whit’s Frozen Custard with proceeds going to the Chris Harmon Fund.

A fund has been set up and is available at any Chase Bank to help with medical expenses.
