Matt McGowan and Tim Pancher have been co-chairs of the Arnold 5K Pump & Run/Arnold 5K for the 20 year history of the event. The races are part of the Arnold Sports Festival. Andy Harris/Columbus Running Company has timed the Arnold 5K Pump & Run/Arnold 5K for the past nine years and has handled the pre-registration for the past six years. Andy Harris will act as the race director for the March 6, 2022 Arnold 5K Pump & Run/Arnold 5K. Matt McGowan and Tim Pancher will provide consulting services to help make the 21st annual event a success.
The Arnold Sports Festival is the brainchild of Jim Lorimer and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Together, they have nurtured what began as a bodybuilding competition in Columbus in 1978 into one of the most popular and innovative sports festivals in the world.
