75 year old Mentor, Ohio’s Jeannie Rice won five races from 400 meters and up--and set three World records over the weekend at the National Masters Track Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Last April she beat the fastest male in her age group by more than 20 minutes in the Boston Marathon with her 3:33:15 a 8:08 per mile pace.

Rice set the World Record  in the Women 75 1500 meters with a time of 6:14.88, shaving over 6 seconds off of Britisher Angela Copson's WR of 6:20.93, set last year.  Earlier in the meet, Jeannie also broke the W75 WRs in the 5000 meters (22:41.46) and 10000 meters (46:53.07).  All records are pending ratification.  In addition, she won Golds in the 400 meters (1:27.90) and 800 meters (3:15.22).
