75 year old Mentor, Ohio’s Jeannie Rice won five races from 400 meters and up--and set three World records over the weekend at the National Masters Track Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Last April she beat the fastest male in her age group by more than 20 minutes in the Boston Marathon with her 3:33:15 a 8:08 per mile pace.

Bryn Du Summer Cross Country Series

A dozen kids from Utica made their way around a short section of the field Thursday at the Bryn Du Mansion, sprinting across the finish line on the hill in front of the entrance.

As the weather starts to heats up so does the summer racing season.  It has been a busy month for running,, remember to drink plenty of water before and after running on these hot summer days.
