The club is dedicated to promoting community fitness and generating funds for Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio. In the past 16 years, the Run for Home Road Runners Club has donated more than $250,000 to Habitat for building projects in Tuscarawas County.

Events include a kids' run, one-mile fun run, 5K race, and 10K race on Saturday, April 6. On Sunday, April 7 the half-marathon and team relay are held on a certified course that takes participants on streets and park paths through Dover and New Philadelphia. All events start and finish in and around New Philadelphia's historic Tuscora Park.

The Run for Home Road Runners Club is an all-volunteer group and is a member of Road Runners Club of America. More than 100 volunteers assist the club each year during race weekend, making the Cleveland Clinic Run for Home a true community event. As many as 1,200 people have participated in Run for Home events in the past. The half-marathon typically attracts anywhere from 200 to 500 participants.  More
