Training Groups are an important part of what they do at Tri-State Running Company (TSRC).  Throughout the year, groups of all distances and speeds are available to its members.  From beginning level 5K programs to faster Marathon runners, there is something for everyone.

“It’s the most enjoyable part of our business” says Cameron Simoneau, owner,“Runners and Walkers in our groups become best of friends and part of extended family.”  Cameron says nobody cares how fast or how slow training group members are.  Groups are friendly and inclusive where having fun and getting fit are the priorities

TSRC coordinators create routes and set out hydration before the start of each run.  The only thing that the participants have to do is show up.  Throughout the season, TSRC will have happy hours, cookouts, and other fun social activities to keep the programs fun and entertaining. Membership to the groups include:  shirts, socks, and other fun swag.  Each week two emails are sent to the group and there is a closed Facebook page to keep members informed.  Groups are divided into places where there is a coach that mentors and leads its runners and walkers.

Tri-State Running Company offers groups at its Mariemont, Ohio, Edgewood and Florence Kentucky stores.  They just started their “Cold Feet” program which keeps runners and walkers active during the colder and darker months of November and December.  Registration is currently open for their Flying Pig Training Groups which start the first week of January.  To learn more go to: www.tristaterunning.com
